55 years old
Ex-athlete, looking to reclaim some of that as my nest empties out. Dislike sitting in front of the TV, want to get out and climb mountains!
I've done a number of centuries and was on the San Jose State varsity judo team.

Get down under 200# and build the muscles back up, strengthen the legs and get to longer distances cycling, including climbing. Want to get to plyos and other activities that will help lateral stabilization of my knees.
Getting started. Once moving, I am pretty good at keeping moving.
Stare at my beautiful bicycle sitting idle in my living room.
That feeling of euphoria, of accomplishment, knowing I got away from the computer screens and the chairs and got outside and enjoyed it.
Improve overall health
I have trouble getting started, but once started I give myself a decent workout.
I am fairly experienced, but by no means an expert.
I have worked out a little but have a lot to learn.
I prefer friendly partners who help me work harder than I do on my own.

I tore my peritoneal tendon so I have an idea but I don't see what state and city you live in
