    After many years....

    Hi I just found this site by accident. I am significantly overweight and was told to lose weight by my doctor. I started my diet in September and by December 7th I lost 40lbs. I don't know what my weight is now because I don't have a scale, and won't buy one till I reach my targetted weight.

    I'm under the care of a dietician. My biggest problem is exercise. I have no equipment at home, and work too damn much to go to the gym. I work out at home, but it's hard to stay motivated.

    Anyway, I'll keep plugging away

    How are your workouts going? If you still aren't finding time to go to the gym, remember that taking a walk at the end of your day will still do wonders for you if you fit them in every day (or almost every day). You can even make phone calls and multi-task if necessary, thanks to cell phones. Throw in a few knee bends and heel lifts and the end to do some strengthening exercises, and you will see over time how it adds up. Don't get frustrated if you don't see results right away--it will take time but you WILL accomplish your goals. Just stick with it.
