About Me

  • I have been an ACE certified personal trainer since 2000 who has trained over 3000 hours. I specialize in pre- and post-natal fitness, stretching, running, and weight loss. Yoga is also a passion for me and a way of life. I received my Yoga Alliance Teacher Certification in India and love to share the calmness, strength, and openness that yoga offers to people of all ages and abilities.

  • I like to feel stretched out, realigned, and pleasantly fatigued after a great workout. Running plus a stretch, yoga, and swimming in the ocean do that for me.

    I did the LA Marathon!!! 5:00:57 time! Not super great but pretty good for my first one!! It was pouring rain the whole time and overall an awesome experience!!

    Hi Proctor,

    I have thin arms, but they are definitely not toned. To get toned, would it be better to do the Arms and Shoulders workout(and if so, how many days a week)? Or, would it be better to do the Resistance Tube arm workout everyday? Thanks so much! Love this website!

    I'm glad to see that you actually check in and interact with people on this site, its definitely NOT what I expected. I've been away from my fitness goals for the past month. First it was Final Projects for school, followed by Exams, then a vacation. I'm trying to settle back into my routine though and I look forward to using this site again as a source for motivation. As I workout and keep track of it, I notice improvements which snowballs into more motivation.

    Hope you are doing well. Just checking out your website again. Looks great! My husband and I are just searching the site. I'm in Seattle still. Have a nice week. My son was born 8 months ago and because he isn't able to take a bottle I haven't been to the gym more than 3 times. Boy do I need to get back in shape. Yikes.

    Hello again...I think I need your help. I seem to have done something fairly uncool to my s.i. joints and am suddenly having a hard time walking, bending over, crossing my legs while sitting, etc. I have no idea how to go about finding someone to help me. I tried to figure out how to contact Elaine because I'm sure she'd know who to call, but I couldn't find anyway to contact her during the off season. Any ideas on docs or how to reach her? Thanks for any ideas you may have!
