50 year old female
I'm a single mother of 2 children. I was fortunate in my youth to be unconciously active which allowed me to stay slim. But after the birth of my first child I noticed not only did I slow down but I beefed up.
With my divorce and the birth of my second child many years later I found that food was my friend and I didn't really pay attention to my health or fitness.
My favourite activities are sedentary ie reading, watching movies and since my job is a desk job I've only moved when I've had to.
I'm looking forward to be being fitter and healthier so that I can continue to enjoy my children and to feel even better about me.
I would like to feel energetic, reduce my blood pressure medications.
I'm not a natural athelete and as such I try to avoid exercise because I feel awkward or uncomfortable. I could make the excuse about time but I don't find that it's true for me
Improve overall health
I have trouble getting started, but once started I give myself a decent workout.
I have worked out a little but have a lot to learn.
I am a novice and dont know where to start.
I prefer to exercise alone.
