My name is Lauren. I work out pretty frequently (about 4-5 times a week) with my busy work schedule. I really joined here to get ideas of different and types of workouts outside of the usual gym. I am looking for someone that can keep me going when my body wants to quit. I want to find a workout partner that we both can push each other and in turn see amazing results in each other.
When I got divorced I gained weight because I felt and was told "I was good but not quite good enough". Due to those words and the rejection I began to eat, cook, sleep...had zero motivation.
I would love to tone up. I am pretty strong (for a girl, i'd say). Just need that extra push and ideas to some outdoor exercises aside from running in the park.
Wow! Anything! Swimming, Cross fit, HIIT training, bicycling.
Pushing yourself to do "one more rep"
Fitness is so many things for me...mainly it's my therapy, my time to push myself pass what I thought I could do.
Being so tired you can barely walk down the stairs or leaving the gym knowing tomorrow morning you are going to be so sore. It's an awesome feeling.
I am able to get started, and once started I give myself a decent workout.
I am fairly experienced, but by no means an expert.
I am experienced, knowledgeable and fairly skilled.
I prefer friendly partners who help me work harder than I do on my own.
