41 year old female
I moved to Seattle 5 years ago from Atlanta. I decided to get into marathoning 3 years ago and I have completed 8 marathons so far. Boston and Chicago are my absolute favorite! I work out 5-6 days a week. I love it and it is just one of those things that makes me happy, along with eating a lot too. ;) My goal is to improve my time and I hope to one day run a 3:20 marathon or faster. I would also like to run a marathon in every state.
Qualifying for the Boston marathon in 2005.
Not training hard enough for the Portland marathon and having to walk a few times after mile 20.
3:20 marathon and/or getting into triathlons
more hiking and climbing
beginning the workout
read inspirational stories and listen to music
I always feel satisfied when I can begin and end a workout with a smile on my face and lots of sweat on my clothes. :)
I am able to get started, and once started I give myself a decent workout.
I am experienced, knowledgeable and fairly skilled.
I am fairly experienced, but by no means an expert.
I like to workout with friends, but still want to get a good workout.
