38 year old female
I'm a 29 year old, married, mother of a beautiful three year old princess. I've gotten into running a lot for exercise in the past year. I have been training for a marathon since January but have been having one injury after another. I doubt I will be able to do the marathon I've signed up for in three weeks because of an Achilles Tendon injury on my right foot. I'm very disappointed about this but am trying to keep my head up... there's other marathons in the future. Am hoping to qualify for Boston and run it in 2011!

I have spurts of consistent exercise, but then go through periods of inactivity.
I am experienced, knowledgeable and fairly skilled.
I am a novice and dont know where to start.
I prefer friendly partners who help me work harder than I do on my own.
