  • I've recently relocated to Salt Lake City and am looking for skiing / alpine touring partners in the winter, and mountain biking partners in the summer. I'm an aggressive skier and an average mountain biker.

    I have a season pass at Alta/Snowbird.

    LOL...depends on the day whether I can walk it or not....not a strength, but it is a my favorite way to take a picture! Olympic Lifting...not oil up and lift...like body building...ahahhaha!!!

    Hey Borro,
    You may not remember me fom Chris and Katherine but I have a season pass at Alta and always looking for someone to ski with...especially here where I hardly know anyone. I'm not an expert but I'm always accepting pointers. I've skied since I was 4 but very little outside of Michigan. My goal this year is to ski 46 times...double the amount of years I've been skiing.     The flood's are down a lot, but we are still avoiding the river (stinky!). Enjoy Salt Lake. I'm also hoping for some good snows this winter, especially after today's crazy hot ride.

    I assume you're asking for suggestion to improve your weightlifting performance and not trying to help me :). Weightlifting is a mentally demanding sport. One has to push one's self beyond their current capabilities in order to improve. One way I do this is pushing myself in other areas of my life and have that intensity and desire carry over to my lifts. Then I do it vice versa. It's a nice tangled web of improvement! Getting pissed off is a phrase I used to signify my overall desire to change.
