63 year old male
Sickly as a child, I began to enjoy sports (soccer) in high school and then college, graduating to running after I got tired of having skinned knees stick to my pants after every weekend. I have enjoyed running and built to marathons and then a few triathlons before being distracted by work and family pressures. I still like to run and would like to work up to marathons again.
Twice have I broken 3 hours for the marathon, but 20 years ago now, in the days before iPods ...
Severe break to my right ankle while running on an icy day in Denver about a month after completing my last marathon (Disneyworld) in 2003 ...
To run / finish a marathon again in less than 4 hours ..
Running with someone else occasionally ...
Motivation, especially in the winter ...
You know when you have a great workout. It doesn't need to be defined.
I have spurts of consistent exercise, but then go through periods of inactivity.
I am fairly experienced, but by no means an expert.
I have worked out a little but have a lot to learn.
I like to workout with friends, but still want to get a good workout.
