Incline Tricep Extension
Place tube about hip height around a secure fixture, or close an assist strap in a doorway. Holding one handle, face away from the tube and step forward to create tension. Place one foot in front of the other then lean slightly forward.
Push the handle towards the ceiling with your elbow staying in front of your shoulder. Pause when your arms are straight, then bend your elbow back to 90 degrees keeping your elbow still.
Triceps brachii, Pectorals
TIP: Keep your spine in neutral alignment. This may mean your focus is towards the floor, not on the wall in front of you.
Variations for Incline Tricep Extension
This is one of the best posture promoters to help get rid of slouched posture.
This variation is more versatile because you can do it no matter what height your fixture is for securing your tube.
This requires a place to secure the tube if you do it with two arms at a time, but it can also be done one tricep at a time by holding one end above your head and the other end down by your hip.
If you do not have a place to secure the tube, this is a good option. It strengthens the stability muscles in your arms and shoulders.
