Pick up two dumbbells. Stand with your arms down by your side, palms facing the sides of your legs.
Lift your shoulders towards your ears. Lower to starting position and repeat.

TIP: Warm up your neck before this exercise with a few head rolls and head tilts.
Variations for Shoulder Shrugs
Similar to shoulder shrugs but since you are using a bar, you can maybe add a few pounds since your hands will hold the weight together.
