Other types of Shoulder Shrugs: Resistance Tube

  • Pick up two dumbbells. Stand with your arms down by your side, palms facing the sides of your legs.

  • Lift your shoulders towards your ears. Lower to starting position and repeat.

  • Shoulders 

  • Levator scapulae, Upper and middle trapezius

  • TIP: Warm up your neck before this exercise with a few head rolls and head tilts.

Variations for Shoulder Shrugs

  • Barbell Shoulder Shrugs

    Similar to shoulder shrugs but since you are using a bar, you can maybe add a few pounds since your hands will hold the weight together.
