The year was 1980. Magnum PI was playing on a large cabinet television set with no remote control. And mustaches were really hot.
Although the mustache has an illustrious past (think President Teddy Roosevelt and scientist Albert Einstein), today, hairy upper lips are, um, well, often underwhelming. That is, unless a man is rocking a huge Mo to raise money for male cancer awareness.
Movember begins on Movember 1st, when clean-shaven guys sign up. For the rest of the month, these selfless and generous men, known as Mo Bros, groom, trim and wax their way into the annals of fine moustachery. Supported by the women in their lives, Mo Sistas, Movember Mo Bros raise funds and become walking, talking billboards to raise awareness around the often ignored issue of men's health.
Fuse is Mo-ving as well, with special fundraising classes with Jocelyn Sundays, November 20 and December 4 at 5:30 p.m. We're donating 100% of the proceeds of the (bargain) $10 classes to the charity. We're also accepting donations if you want to give more.
So bring a dude, if you're a dude, bring another, or come alone or with your girls to support the men in your life, and to help prevent and cure cancer.
