About Me

  • I consider myself a natural runner. I have run 4 marathons and 1 40 mile race. I helped a couple friends train and complete their first marathons. I like to play basketball which sometimes gets in the way of my training. But sometimes it replaces my training. I say "you get back what you put in." Sometimes I like to hang out and that's my real weakness... Giving in to peer pressure from my roomies to have a drinking night when I'm supposed to run 15 miles the next morning. I enjoy the outdoors, camping, hiking, rafting, climbing, skydiving, bungee jumping, sailing, and definately snow boarding.

  • Highland Sky 40 miler in 9 hrs 25mins.

  • Breaking my right fibula 4 days before running the Marine Corps Marathon with more than 6 months of rehab afterward. :(

  • Qualifying for the Boston Marathon.

  • Yoga

  • Getting started.

  • My goal is to qualify for the Boston Marathon so I keep that in mind.

  • I want to feel absolutely exhausted. Like my old high school xcountry days when I got home I just fell asleep.
