59 year old male
I am a socio-technologist researcher at the University of South Carolina. I thoroughly enjoy being out doors and get out there as often as possible but for the most part my life is sedentary. I have a 3 year old son who keeps me going and I want to be around to see him graduate college so my motivation to work out is strong.
At one time when I had my own gym equipment in my basement I could see my median cubital vein along the top of my bisep. But my true highlight is when a bunch of girls slowed their car to watch me peddle my bike up a mountain in Colorado all the while telling me that my backside looked good. That was a long time ago.
Injured my shoulder while doing gymnastics in college--it still hurts.
Loosing 20 pounds
Actually getting it started
I tell myself that everyday I don't workout is one less day I will have watching my boy grow up.
When my muscles ache just enough to let me know I did something but not so much as to cause pain.
Improve overall health
I have spurts of consistent exercise, but then go through periods of inactivity.
I have worked out a little but have a lot to learn.
I prefer friendly partners who help me work harder than I do on my own.
