Whether it runs in your family or you have diabetes, heart disease, or are pregnant, you probably have at least one reason to keep track of it. Dr. Oz, well known for his appearances on the Oprah show, has announced that it is one of the most important numbers you should know. Blood pressure machines which automatically and painleslsy take your reading in the comfort of your own home are now available at almost every neighborhood drug store. Learn how to do it correctly and often to get the most accurate reading. Your doctor can offer advice on whether or not you need to be concerned and possibly take medication or simply monitor it.
