About Me

  • I'm a personal trainer with Citywide Superslow in Chicago. I've been certified for 4 years and love the workouts, which are very intense and short in duration. They're the best way for me to strength train. I've started with yoga (level 1) in 2009 to increase my flexibility, and plan to slowly but surely add additional activities as well, such as pilates, swimming and climbing.

  • Consistently attending a yoga class once a week, in addition to my 2x week high intensity workouts.

  • Not going to my yoga class because I'm "too tired."

  • Starting a pilates class in February to increase my core strength.

  • Indoor rock climbing, in order to try to do it outdoors also.

  • Motivation! There's always something better to do...

  • Look in the mirror and realize that as a 41 year old male, I need to increase my activity in order to just MAINTAIN what I used to take for granted!

  • Sore muscles (especially my triceps and glutes). One where I'm so glad I did it, even if there was hesitation to actually get started.

Fitness Details

  • I am able to get started, but need help pushing myself through a hard workout.

  • I have worked out a little but have a lot to learn.

  • I am experienced, knowledgeable and fairly skilled.

  • I prefer friendly partners who help me work harder than I do on my own.
