    About Me

    • I have many interests, but little time. I work full time and go to school part time. Any extra time I try to spend studying or doing something active with friends and/or my dog. I'm trying to fit running into my busy schedule- hopefully 4 times a week. Right now I'm a weak runner and biker, but hopefully in a month or two, I improve to a more respectable level.

    • I ran the St. George Marathon twice in high school. I would eventually like to get to the point where I can do two marathons each year.

    • A couple years ago I reached my heaviest- 240 lbs. Yuck. I'm planning on keeping plenty of distance from that number. I'd like to get down to 180. Currently I am 220.

    • I am training for a marathon in August.

    • I purchased a road bike last year and hope to ride a lot this summer. I would also like to start doing yoga once a week. I haven't tried it yet though. I'm a little nervous about it.

    • Starting the workout. Once I'm doing it, i like it.

    • This is where I need help. Any tips?

Hey bro, like the bio! I am always looking for new people to hike with (mostly do the cottonwood canyons). As my bio says, I'm only in moderate shape, I can hike non-stop but trail-runners probably laugh as they pass by, but if your ever looking for a good local hike, hit me up. Since my climbing partner is in traction I'm going to the mountains to hike every chance I get. P.S. That Vivian post has got to be the most contrived thing I've ever seen! lol

I know what you mean about motivation, I could always use an extra dose! But honestly, tracking my workouts on FitLink (I am not a paid endorser ;) ) has really helped me stay on track, I just love seeing those gold stars on my calendar when I log a workout! (Prol some latent thing from kindergarten!) Good luck with your goals!

Motivation is the hardest part, I actually moved to 801 to help with that (I want to go skiing a lot more than I want to run on flat city concrete). Now I've made enough friends to always have someone to drag or be dragged up the mountain on those fresh snow days. As for summer? I'm trying your bike idea as well, draggers needed :P
