About Me

  • I've just moved to chilly Boston from Florida and need to get back in shape now that I've adjusted. My Florida workout regime consisted of outdoor activity (which was easy because I loved the sunshine and salty air). Now that weather is keeping me indoors, I really would like to revamp my workout at the gym.

  • I felt my best over the past few summers when my energy was high and I had the time to commit to an active lifestyle outdoors and in the water. Lifeguarding and being a rescue Scuba Diver in the Florida Keys was the highlight of my fitness

  • I used to dabble in Kick Boxing during my college years and I thought it was a great workout. I would like to integrate some of that into my workouts a little more seriously

  • Finding time (9-5 jobs, cold weather, and long commutes are the worst)

  • Keep a positive outlook on staying in shape and use how I feel (not look) as my definition of fitness

  • If I'm walking out of the door looking like something the cat dragged in (usually with a big smile on my face).... then I had a good gym session

Fitness Details

  • Improve overall health

  • I have trouble getting started, but once started I workout intensely.

  • I am fairly experienced, but by no means an expert.

  • I have worked out a little but have a lot to learn.

  • I prefer to exercise alone.

  • Evenings (5pm-10pm)
