Oklahoma City Fitness
Oklahoma City is a fun-filled fitness city. As the capital of Oklahoma and one of the most important livestock markets, Oklahoma City has a large population of residents and visitors. Outdoor fitness opportunities can be found in any number of the cities parks and public spaces. If you like running, cycling and hiking, try out the 13 miles of multi-use asphalt trails along the Oklahoma River. The city is working on creating more greenways to connect neighborhoods and parks. You can also take in some fresh air and maybe join a basketball game or soccer game at the new South Lakes Regional Park which covers over 158 acres of parkland. There are 5 municipal golf courses in Oklahoma City for anyone who takes their fitness at a slower pace. For the extreme sport and fitness lover, there is Matt Hoffman Action Sports Park; a state-of-the-art skate park for skateboarding, inline skating and BMX biking. If you like going to the gym, try All American 24 Hour Fitness which has several locations in Oklahoma City.
