Cycling in New York
Cycling in New York is a great sport to pick up or continue because there are miles of paths in Riverside Park, Central Park, and Prospect Park. During off-peak hours on weekdays, Central Park and Prospect Park are closed off to cars, so you have the whole road to yourself (and to share with other cyclists and pedestrians of course). On the weekends, they are completely closed to cars. In Forest Park (Queens), Forest Park Drive is closed to cars from Woodhaven to Metropolitan.
