About Me

  • I have just moved back to SD about a year ago this month, and between job searching and trying to find old friends I haven't had a lot of time to exercise. Most of my friends have moved away or gotten married, and I have found a great job. But, I am at a loss for the whole exercise thing. I would like to find someone that can help me get motivated to workout. Getting started is the hardest part for me, but once I do and do it regularly, I"m pretty great at it. I just need someone that wants to lose weight and get into like I do or someone that can motivate me in the beginning as well as I can motivate them.

  • Once I get started I"m all about it and want to exercise all the time.

  • Getting started is the hardest. And, running is not really my thing, I'm very bad at it and just don't enjoy it.

  • I would really like to lose at least 30 pounds and maybe even a little more if all goes well.

  • I wouldn't mind getting into walking, or back into hockey. I used to go to beginning hockey classes and then had to stop when I moved.

  • Finding the time to do it, but I am ready to make time for it.

  • I try to remember my ultimate goal. And, just to feel healthier and have more energy.

  • A great workout is getting started, and finishing. And, feeling energized afterwards.

    La Mesa ... I live in University Heights...probably too far for convenience. But, if you want to meet a few times a week for power walks, I'm open. I'm 54, happily married, no kids. Interested in beach walking, Balboa Park walking, calisthenics, biking...just exercise, nothing else. I want to lose 30 lbs. I weigh 213 and am 5'9". I work from home, so my schedule is flexible. Spouse isn't a morning person and walking in the morning alone isn't motivating.     Looking for someone to exercise or walk with. I can workout in the early mornings or evenings after 6pm.
