Las Vegas Fitness
The bright lights and gambling halls of Las Vegas are not the only thing that draws people to this desert city. Las Vegas actually offers hundreds of fitness opportunities for residents and visitors. Most of the hotels along the strip will include some sort of fitness facility, however, some of the best places to exercise are outside of the main Vegas drag. Red Rock Canyon and Lake Mead National Recreation Area are great places to go climbing, hiking, running, swimming and even just walking. Plus going to a national park is the cheapest fitness trip you can take. The city of Las Vegas also just completed the world class Charlie Kellogg & Joe Zaher Sports Complex which includes 11 soccer fields and 23 tennis courts. If you like going to the gym, you can look for Las Vegas Athletic Club locations. If you prefer dance and pilates, you can check out The Pilates Studio or the Keith Kleven Institute.
