As a promoter of holistic and alternative healing modalities, I help clients build strong, supple bodies that remain resilient in their lives outside the studio. Pilates builds strength within the body’s fullest range of motion to free the joints and muscles. This lessens unhealthy stress placed on the body and corrects muscle imbalance caused by everyday activities (and thus the aches and pains!). Through the marriage of proper alignment and breath, these workouts correct inefficient movement patterns and restore a sense of ease and fluidity.
A good wellness program has the power to transform bodies and minds. With focused instruction and encouragement, it increases confidence and coordination, simultaneously building a positive body image. Tuning in to your body’s physical state will guide you to a healthy, pain-free life. My teaching style is highly influenced by Feldenkrais techniques and the yogic principles of breath (pranayama), imagery, meditation, and self-love. Expect a challenging, inspiring, and highly-personalized session.
