    I'm a Personal Trainer who loves and cannot live without fitness!

  • I'm now squatting 225lbs for reps, which was a personal goal of mine. Not going to win any serious weight lifting records, but for me it's an accomplishment. I'm still packing it on gradually, so look for that number to go up!

    I'm also proud to say that I'm using a 45 pound plate for my pull-ups- again, not going to win any awards, but definately a milestone for me!

  • After dieting down for a FIgure Competition that got cancelled (grrrr), I ended up on a 6 month binge that shot my body fat percentage up from 12% to 21%. (12% is low, low, low- too low to hold for long!) No more extreme dieting for me! (The flipside is that I busted my strength plateau that I'd been hovering at for months- it was a very anabolic time!) Thankfully I'm back to my preferred 18% and feeling stronger than ever!

  • I MIGHT think about doing a fitness show. For now, it's all about my personal best- putting up more weight than I did before, feeling confident when I look in the mirror, and reaping the benefits of a healthy lifestyle!

  • Martial arts! I'm definately looking to get back into it...

  • The hardest thing for me is pushing my hardest even when I'm tired or mentally worn out from other things. Sometimes you have to "dig deep", but even when I'm yawning and shuffling around the gym, I still love it! True love conquers all! LOL!!!

    I think most of my clients would agree- it's always toughest when other things in life are draining your energy and/or time, but you've just gotta push right through- you'll feel so awesome afterwards!

  • I am somewhat compulsive about it- if I don't do it, I go crazy! I fill up with energy and I get very, very grumpy if I'm not getting enough exercise. I also can't stand to see my results backslide- I am very committed!

    Sometimes I have to be my own "personal trainer", and think positive thoughts when I'm feeling down or tired. I gotta tell myself, "One more! You can do it!"

  • A great workout is when you really give it your "all" and come away feeling pleasantly exhausted.
