Known as the Motor City, Detroit is situated near both Lake Erie and Lake St. Clair and offers many ways to participate in fitness activities. Still in construction is the Detroit Riverwalk which will connect the east riverfront with the west riverfront through a series of paved paths, parks and green spaces.
