Walking in Chicago
All you need is to step outside your door for a nice walk in Chicago. Even if you don't live close to the Lakefront Path, there are dozens of beautiful parks like Oz Park, Lincoln Park (be sure to check out the Lincoln Park Conservatory for a slow, green, flower-filled walk!), Grant Park, or Millennium Park downtown. Even if you just want to walk around Michigan Avenue, you'll get exercise up and down this "Magnificent Mile" as you window shop, people watch, and gaze at the thousands of beautiful flowers and plants that Mayor Daley has planted in the middle of the street.
