Inline Skating in Chicago

About Inline Skating in Chicago

The Chicago Lakefront Path is one of the most popular places to skate, especially between North Avenue and Oak Street beach where you can practice turns and braking without bikers whizzing by. There is a skateboard park just off of Lake Shore Drive at Wilson Avenue that is new and full of turns and levels and ramps to practice your tricks. On the South Side, visit Burnham Skate Park at 3400 South Lake Shore Drive which is open from 10 am -10 pm. Check out the Chicago section of the National Skate Patrol to find some more paths.
