46 year old female
I am a native New Yorker and have been health and fitness oriented forever. I try to keep a balanced, consistent approach to fitness and life in general. I do core strengthening, push-ups and short high-intensity cardio workouts several times a week. I was seriously involved with vinyasa yoga for many years, have maintained much of the flexibility and body awareness I developed during that time, and still do weekend yoga retreats from time to time.I'm looking for workout buddies to come along for a yoga or Pilates class and/or walks in the park.
I am consistent, balanced and enjoy eating rich foods and relaxing, as much as being active, healthy and fit. I am motivated to work out and eat healthily out of feeling good about myself, and not out of guilt.
Occasionally, my knees :(
Vary my workouts by incorporating yoga more often, and hiking seasonally.
Hiking, power walking
Finding workout buddies at similar fitness levels-- fit, active but not super-athletic.
Remember how good it feels, and just get started!
That wonderful tingling of energy, when you know you're making the connection, staying aligned, pushing yourself, and reaching that "other place"!
Maintain current fitness
I am able to get started, and once started I give myself a decent workout.
I am fairly experienced, but by no means an expert.
I like to workout with friends, but still want to get a good workout.
