About Me


    What's going on world?! My name is AJ and I'm blown away right now by how great this website is and the immense amount of potential it has for helping people meet their fitness goals through meeting like minded individuals!

    I'm a very physically active person, but it doesn't dictate who I am or my personality. By nature, I like to teach and help people, especially if they're truly passionate about dedicating themselves to attaining their fitness goals. My passion for teaching and helping is not confined to only fitness or strength and conditioning. I'm interested in finding someone or possibly even a group of people that are seriously committed and dedicated to further developing their strength and conditioning as well as helping their partners attain their goals.

    My strength and conditioning habits are weightlifting 6 days a week (M-Sat), twice a day (AM and PM workouts), with running 3 times a week in the AM.

    My approach to working out is a blend of bodybuilding, power lifting, and functional training. I like to look good and develop muscles, but I'm more interested in developing serious strength and athleticism, so I maintain and incorporate a healthy balance of all of the different disciplines of weightlifting.

    Regardless of what your weightlifting experience may be, I don't discriminate against anyone. It would be great to find someone that is very passionate, committed and hardworking that is willing to apply themselves daily as I am so that we can have a supportive, productive and encouraging environment. That being said, I don't impose my attitude, beliefs or workouts on anyone ever. I will gladly teach you technique and give advice when asked. I'm very comfortable with working out with someone who has an entirely different method or program.

    The biggest reason I joined this site was to find someone to workout with and to spot me consistently. I'm a huge fan and advocate of forced reps as well as other different bodybuilding principals. Aside from forced reps, it's always very important when attempting certain heavy movements to have someone safely spot you to help you through any mental or physical sticking points.

  • Taking time off from certain workouts or lifts because I'm lacking a partner or a spotter.

  • Finding an awesome partner or group to help me keep getting stronger and faster and me doing the same for them.

  • Getting enough sleep LOL

  • Music, surrounding myself with positive and encouraging people and having goals keeps me highly motivated.

  • A great workout is feeling even more energized and better after getting everything done and looking forward to your next workout.
